ENGLISH CLUB @ CHIANG MAI, THAILAND.

Sharing Jesus Through English Teaching Ministry in Thailand

Paul is recently assisting a new Upgrade English Club at Chiang Mai near Chiang Mai University. The club is a ministry arm of an Australian missionary couple, Pastor Paul O’Neill and Velda. They are from Perth WA, and recently starting a new church in Chiang Mai. Pastor Paul and Velda invite Paul to join the English club and provide opportunity for Paul to teach as well as praying with the clubbers.

Apart from assisting Pastor Paul and Velda, Paul also has English class at the Bible League Thailand and teach English to four Thai students. Paul and Nancy will be relocating to Hang Dong this month to involve in teaching English at Teshabaan School as volunteers. Paul is currently arranging his students with English club and Pastor Paul and Velda are warmly welcoming them to join the club and continue to learn English in absence of Paul and Nancy.

Prayer Request

  • Pray for the salvation of these clubbers. Some of them are unbelievers. Through English lesson and conversations,  and through songs and prayer time, the Spirit of God may convict them and prepare their hearts and their souls may hunger and thirst for the Word of God and to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • Pray for Pastor Paul and Velda, that more Thai students and professionals may join Upgrade English Club and affiliate to be member of their new church in Chiang Mai.
  • Pray for God’s leading and direction in their ministry as Paul and Nancy are preparing to move to Hang Dong by end of May 2018. Pray that they will adjust well in new environment with new people and teaching ministry, and they may have good health and safety, financial support, food and accommodation.

GMT/GET Visit 16/09/18.

GMT/GET Team Visit to Chiang Mai Thailand

Our Mondos missionary family were visited by the Missionaries and missions leaders from the Charis Church in Malaysia and the GMT/GET. Paul is a graduate of GET 2015 batch. GET provides cross culture training on Evangelism and Leadership in Missions to many missionaries,  who are currently serving in different parts of the world. GMT team led by Lilian Tan, making a follow up visit to GET graduates to encourage and to work in partnership to expand Gods mission. Mondo’s were encouraged and blessed by the visit of Lilian, Lisa and Esther. The missionary family are looking forward to partner in God’s mission with the GMT/GET and the Charis Church, Malaysia, to expand the ministry of reaching souls for Christ.

Pontuk Encountered Jesus Christ for First Time

Pontuk, a woman seen sitting, from pictures above. She’s an unbeliever just like any other millions of Thai people. Pontuk was invited for the first time to attend our usual service on Sunday 25/11/17 at Baan Thawai Home Church, Chiang Mai. The Spirit of God convicted Pontuk of her sins when God’s Word was shared. At the end of the service, she came forward for prayer. When she was asked to repeat the sinner’s prayer, the evil spirit shut her lips. She could not say the prayers properly and was struggling to mention the name of Jesus. Seeing that, we all the believers in the room lifted our hands and voices in prayer toward her rebuking the evil spirit. She fell from the chair and had severe stomach pain and began to vomit, while we were still praying. We kept praying in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ and the evil spirit left her. She vomited and stomach pain vanished. After recovering from that encounter, Pontuk was rejoicing in tears and testified that she has just found a new life in Christ for the first time. Pontuk is her name. Pray that she will grow strong in her new faith and life in the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Pray for the people of Thailand: Pray the Thais will hunger to know the forgiveness of sin, found only through faith in the work of Christ on the cross. Pray they will hunger to know God’s love, found through faith in Christ’s work and life. Pray they will turn away from their beliefs in the gods of this world.

We have started a company called PNG PARADISE CLOTHING a subsidiary of PHILIPNG TAILORING based in manila. We are specialised in producing clothes of all types (school uniforms, corporate uniforms and other General merchandising). We offer quality products at a very reasonable prices in PNG. The company was established in September 2017, and until now we have delivered several orders in PNG.
